About Warne, NC - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Warne, North Carolina is an unincorporated community located in Brasstown Township. This community is found in Clay County, which is one of the smallest counties in the state by population. Situated in the far western portion of North Carolina, Warne is closer to the capitals of several other states than it is to Raleigh, including the capitals of Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia. Warne is situated halfway between Knoxville and Atlanta, and it retains a rural character due to its location within the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Warn is a very rural community, and it is surrounded by national forests, countryside, and wildlife. Warne is seated about a half of a mile north of the Nantahala National Forest, and it is less than two miles from the Chattahoochee National Forest. This community is also surrounded by destinations with cultural significance like the John C. Campbell Folk School, which offers residents classes in contemporary and traditional crafts.

The climate of Warne is a typical of a humid subtropical zone with hot and humid summers and mild winters. January is the coldest month, and average high temperatures are around 48 degrees Fahrenheit. During the summer, high temperatures tend to reach the upper-80s, but the high humidity will make it feel even warmer. This community also receives abundant rainfall, and it is distributed evenly throughout the course of a year.

The varied weather conditions in Warne make it important for residents to have access to both home heating and cooling systems. A home furnace or heat pump will be needed during the winter, especially when overnight temperatures drop to near the freezing mark. During the summer, the dangerously high temperatures could lead to heat-related illnesses, so an efficient air conditioner is a necessity in order for residents to stay safe and comfortable.
