We have always heard good things about this company and now we know why. They were able to repair our hvac unit for half the cost of another local company saving us over $1000! You have definitely earned our business!

April 2025 our AC wasn’t working. So we called McKinneys and were told our compressor went out. They were able to provide a used compressor that had been rebuilt (with a warranty) and let us make payments for one year. We would not have been able to fix the AC without their help as we are on fixed an income . Thank you to the staff at McKinney’s. Y’all are awesome!! We just got our unit paid off this month!

Very good people to deal with all the way from the the nice ladies who answer the phones, quotes, installers and follow-up by the owner to make sure I was 100% satisfied. They know what they are doing as these can be very complicated systems and answered all my questions on what all the components were and proper settings. Would use them again!

Technician arrived on time. He took one look at our system and recognized the issue right away. After resolving the problem, Steve went ahead and checked the coolant, and topped that off. We were charged a fair and reasonable rate. Steve was very professional and courteous to my wife. I believe we will get on a periodic service schedule with McKinney Heating & Air to keep our Trane healthy and us on track. Highly recommend this company for your heating & air needs. Shopped around for a heat pump replacement as my 2006 unit wasn’t working well and had a leak. McKinney was competitive price wise, professional, and did a great install for us in a reasonable amount of time. Thank you!

Had a heat pump not heating. McKinney has done other HVAC work for me in the past, so I called. They answer their phone... many others do not. Their guys are really good. Dave got there really quick and found the problem. He knew what he was doing. Prices were good. I will call them the next time. Great job.

We moved up to Hiawasee and have needed to call a heating and air company a couple of times. Our neighbors recommended McKinney H & A, and boy am I glad they did. These folks are awesome! They're very helpful and friendly even in the busiest of times, and they are super-quick in coming out to rectify any issues. Their company provided one of the best, if not the best, customer service experience we've had in Hiawassee. Great job, y'all!

After 6 months of dealing with an incompetent hvac company, I am so happy to have found McKinney Heating and Air. David, the service technician that took our case fixed our system in 2 hours and found serious wiring errors made by the previous company we had hired. David's expertise and dedication was a very refreshing change and I want to make sure does not go unnoticed by his supervisors.

McKinney heat and air stopped by our house 7/1 to diagnose an inop ac. We feared the worst, maybe needing a new unit as the compressor didn’t even start. Instead of a $10,000 or more new unit, they diagnosed and sold us a new start capacitor for the unit we had. A few minutes later it was back up and running! Heard of them thru word of mouth, and was not disappointed! I hope the unit keeps working well, but if it acts up again we know who to call!

They came when they said they would, diagnosed the problem and repaired it in less than an hour. Price was reasonable.

We called a few places to work on our mini split system and no one wanted to help. After calling McKinney they were quick to say no problem and set up an appointment.
